Christmas to all our family and friends!
A year and half after Harold, Megan joined the 60’s Club on October 3rd! She celebrated with extended family at Spaghetti Factory.

This year the Hawken grandchild count increased by 100%
with the births of two beautiful babies. In March we welcomed:
Søren Fredrick Hawken
21 March at 6:13pm
7 lb 11oz, 20.2”
June
Wearing the same christening gown worn by his great-grandfather,
grandfather, uncle, cousin and father on their special day, Søren was given a
blessing by his father on June 2nd.

Two years since his accident, Harold completed another Seattle-to-Portland (STP) bike ride in July. In 2012, he set a personal best by completing the first 100 miles (Seattle to Chehalis) in less than 6 hours. This year, he completed the entire ride (203 miles) in less than 12 hours.August
Harold biked from Renton to Bellingham.
Megan drove to Bellingham where she finished a baby quilt
with the much-appreciated help from her sister, Kristen, while Harold & Jim
worked on the reef net boat.

October
10th – While Emily & Søren were off visiting
family in Arizona, Jacob, with the help of Harold & Megan, began the
move into their new home in Kent.
November
Wearing the same hand-made gown as big sister
Naomi wore, Nora was given a blessing by her father on
November 17th.
